SLC MP calls to reveal MPs’ names treated at parliament’s expense

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Abdul Mahdi al-Khafaji, of the State of Law Coalition called the parliament chairmanship to reveal the names of the MPs who treated at the expense of the parliament.

In a press statement received by IraqiNews.com, he said “Revealing the MPs’ names is to avoid the political purposes behind discussing it and to have flexibility in dealing with the issues subject to the public and not to commit outrage upon any person.”

“The Legislative Authority is being accused by all due to the behaviors of some sides and we call the parliament to reveal the names of those MPs to avoid a new way of corruption,” he concluded.
