Civilian wounded by gunmen in Kirkuk

KIRKUK / IraqiNews.com: A civilian man was wounded by unidentified gunmen fire in southwestern Kirkuk, a security source said on Sunday. “Unknown gunmen opened fire at the owner of an auto store in Wahid Hozayran area, southwestern Kirkuk, on Saturday (March 14) evening, leaving him seriously wounded,” the source, who is from the Joint Coordination Center in Kirkuk, told IraqiNews.com news agency. Meanwhile, the same source said, a 57 mm cannon shell was seized in the area of PoWs and missing persons in southern Kirkuk. “The shell was detonated by patrols of the Dumez police station and Multi-National Force (MNF) troops without incident,” he added.
