Iraqi Olympic Team loses to Turkey

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Olympic Football team lost the match in front of its Turkish counterpart (2-3) within the competitions of the Islamic Solidarity Championship held currently in Indonesia.

The first half ended (1-0) for the Iraqi team scored by the forward player Amjad Kalaf at 13th minute.

The Turkish team returned to the match by equalizing at 57th minute. The Iraqi player Luay Salah scored again for Iraq at 67th minute.

The Turkish Olympic Team equalized again at the 88th minute of the match, then scored again at the 90th minute to end the first match in the championship with a victory on the Iraqi team.

The Iraqi team will play its second match against the Syrian counterpart next Saturday.
