Urgent – 41 persons killed, injured southern Tikrit [09/20/2013]

Salah il-Din (IraqiNews.com) 41 persons were killed and injured when Improvised Explosive Devices exploded inside a mosque of southern Tikrit.

A security source stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “A number of the IEDs emplaced inside Musa’ab Bin Omair mosque exploded to kill 19 citizens and injure 22 others.”

“The security forces hurried to the explosion area and transported the injuries to the nearby hospital and the dead bodies to the morgue,” the source concluded.
