Gharaf Oil field starts Oil production process Saturday

Dhi-Qar (IraqiNews.com) The Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki announced the start of the actual production process in Gharaf Oil field in Dhi-Qar province with a production capacity of (35,000) barrels daily.Maliki mentioned in his speech at the inauguration ceremony “The foundation of Dhi-Qar Oil company will be announced soon after approaching the production level of (100,000) Oil barrels daily,” noting that “We will work to accelerate the procedures related to the foundation of this company.”The Premier arrived in Dhi-Qar province accompanied by his Deputy for Energy Affairs, Hussein al-Shahristani and the Minister of Oil, Abdul Karim Luaibi, to attend the inauguration celebration. \END\
