Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Ammar al-Hakim, assured that Iraq needs State men and not politicians.

While meeting the chieftains of Wasit province, he called to “Urge the people to participate in the elections,” assuring the importance of “Making the competition among the citizens to be among the electoral programs.”

“Settling the issues can be done through the unity where terrorism is not strong, but the unity is lost,” he added, noting that “The security crisis is also resulted due to neglecting the role of the tribes.”

“The SIIC is supporting the tribes and does not interfere in their affairs or imposes any ideas on them,” he concluded.
