Senior Iraqi delegation heads to Iran to discuss mutual defensive cooperation

(IraqiNews.com) A senior Iraqi security delegation will visit Iran on Monday to develop defensive cooperation between Iraq and Iran.An informed source stated to IraqiNews.com ”The Acting Minister of Defense, Sa’adon al-Duliami, will arrive Tehran heading a senior security delegation in response to the invitation of the Iranian Minister of Defense, Colonel Hussein Daqan.”

”The Iraqi delegation involves the Chief of Army Staff, Babker Zebari and leaders of Infantry, Air Force and Naval forces,” the statement added.”Duliami will meet his Iranian counterpart and several officials and they will discuss the means to promote bilateral regional and international topic as well as the defensive cooperation between the two countries,” the statement concluded.
