IHEC announces receiving more than 200 complaints over Kurdistan Region elections

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Independent High Electoral Commission announced receiving more than 200 complaints from the political blocs over the elections of Kurdistan Region.

The Deputy Head of the IHEC, Katea al-Zuba’ai, stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The IHEC received 210 complaints from several political blocs where three committees were formed to check these complaints and we will announce the results of the elections after finishing the investigation in these complaints.”

“We did not receive the complaints over the general voting process yet,” he added, noting that “We did not receive red complaints over the elections.”

“The experiment of the electronic stamp proved being successful and the efforts of the IHEC regarding it were good,” he concluded.
