Iraqi army officer arrested with 13 missiles in Amara

MISSAN / IraqiNews.com: Missan policemen arrested an Iraqi army officer with 13 missiles ready for firing in his possession in central al-Amara on Saturday, according to the province’s police information & relations director. “The rockets, which were inside a pickup truck the officer owns, were ready for firing to target security departments in the city,” Col. Sadeq Sallam told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The arrest took place based on intelligence tip-offs and local residents’ cooperation,” he added.
