2 IEDs defused, cop arrested in Missan

MISSAN / IraqiNews.com: Two improvised explosive devices (IEDs) were defused and a policeman was arrested on murder charges in Missan province, the province’s police command said on Monday. “The policeman was arrested on charges of killing a recruit from Missan police,” according to a police statement received by IraqiNews.com news agency. Emergency police forces defused an explosive charge planted in Abi Rommana area, downtown Amara, and another device in the center of the city, the statement added.
