3 ex-candidates for Muthanna provincial election arrested

MUTHANNA / IraqiNews.com: Three out of nine ex-candidates for Muthanna provincial election who are wanted for forging their educational documents were arrested, a local investigating judge said on Monday. “All of the nine candidates did not win the election,” Abdelameer al-Shemmary told IraqiNews.com news agency. “Those arrested will be admitted to court soon,” he said. “Security forces are working on arresting the other six,” he said.
