MP denies hindering endorsement of Elections law by KA

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Sharif Sulaiman, of the Kurdistani Alliance denied hindering the endorsement of the Elections law by his Alliance.

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “The reports over hindering the endorsement of the Elections law by the KA or any other Kurdish side are groundless.”

“The KA clearly presented suggestions to the Legal Committee and stressed the necessity of adhering to the Open-slate system in addition to calling for distributing seats to the small entities,” he added.

“The Elections law is important and there should be deals over it,” he concluded.
