Sahwa elements injured northern Tikrit [09/28/2013]

Salah-il-Din (IraqiNews.com) Three Sahwa elements were injured due to explosion of an Improvised Explosive Device in Beiji District of northern Tikrit.

“An IED was emplaced on a side-road exploded, targeting a vehicle that transports three Sahwa elements in Tamim neighborhood of central Beiji district of northern Tikrit,” security source reported to IraqiNews.com, noting that “The explosion of the IED resulted in injuring the Sahwa elements.”

“Security forces cordoned off the explosion site and transported the wounded elements to the hospital for treatment,” the source concluded.
