Urgent – Al-Qaeda elements takes credit for Erbil blasts

Erbil (IraqiNews.com) The Islamic State of Iraq and Sham terrorist organization, within terrorist Al-Qaeda Organization, adopted the terrorist operations that occurred in Erbil province.

The terrorist organization adopted the blasts in a brief statement published in its website without any further details regarding the reasons behind the terrorist operations.

A series of suicide bombings and explosions of car bombs targeted the Asayish Directorate in Erbil province and resulted in killing and wounding more than (42) persons while six suicide bombers were killed while they were attempting to storm the directorate to detonate their car bombs, according to the statement of Asayish forces.

The Governor of Erbil province, Nozad Hadi, declared imposing strict security measures and closing all the inlets of the province in order to control the security situation on the background of the recent blasts and attacks.
