Jaafary, Shawis discuss latest political updates in Iraq

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Iraqi National Alliance, Ibrahim al-Jaafary, discussed with the Deputy Premier, Ruz Nouri Shawis, the latest political updates in Iraq.

A statement by the INA received by IraqiNews.com cited “Jaafary and Shawis discussed the political updates and the means of settling the obstacles that hinder the progress of the political process in addition to the security updates in Erbil and Baghdad.”

“”Jaafary welcomed the success of the elections in Kurdistan Region, considering it as a victory to the democracy in Iraq, appreciating the active participation in the democratic process,” the statement concluded.
