3 wounded in hand-grenade attack in Mosul

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: Three civilians were wounded when a hand-grenade was hurled at a police patrol in central Mosul city on Sunday, a security source in Ninewa said. “The grenade was thrown by a gunman at a police patrol on al-Corniche street, central Mosul, wounding three civilians who happened to be near the scene of the attack. The gunman then escaped to an unknown place,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. Mosul, the capital city of Ninewa province, lies 405 km north of Baghdad. AmR (P)/SR 1
