Reporter, Cameraman of Sharqiya Channel assassinated in Mosul

Nineveh (IraqiNews.com) The reporter and the cameraman of Sharqiya TV channel were killed due to an armed attack in Nineveh on Saturday.

Security source mentioned to IraqiNews.com “Unidentified gunmen opened fire targeting the reporter Mohammed Karim, and the cameraman Mohammed Ghanem, in Sarjakhana area of central Mosul, killing them immediately.”

“The reporter was shot with six bullets while the cameraman was shot one at the head,” the source added. . “The security forces launched investigation over the incident and transported the victims’ bodies to the morgue,” the source concluded.
