Urgent – Kurds form committee to discuss elections law with other political blocs

Erbil (IraqiNews.com) A Kurdish Committee was formed in Erbil to discuss the elections law with all other political blocs.President of the Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani, held a meeting with the members of the Kurdistani Alliance and Kurdish MPs in the Federal Parliament to discuss the suggestions of other political blocs after the failure of the Parliament on last Thursday session in voting on elections law and decided to postpone it till Monday session on the demand of Kurdistani Alliance.An informed Kurdish source reported to the correspondent of IraqiNews.com ”During the meeting, the attendances agreed upon to take a union stance regarding the election law draft and to form a committee that includes the representatives of Kurdish political blocs in the Parliament to discuss with other political blocs over the stance of Kurd regarding the draft of election law project.””The meeting touched on various suggestions related to the Parliament elections system which is scheduled to be held on next April. \END\
