SLC MP: Authorizing Dulaimi to mediate between government, demonstrators to help settling demonstrations

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Ali al-Shalah, of the State of Law Coalition stated that authorizing the Governor of Anbar province, Ahmed Khalaf al-Dulaimi, by the demonstrators to mediate between them and the government will help in responding to their demands.

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “The stance of the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, is clear where the government will work on responding to the demonstrators’ demands related to the government and those demands related to the parliament will be referred to the parliament according to the constitutional principles.”

“Having a mediator accepted by the public will largely help in settling the disputes,” he concluded.
