6 suspects nabbed, IED defused in Mosul

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi army forces on Wednesday arrested six suspects and defused an explosive charge in two separate incidents in Mosul, according to a media source. “Those arrested were captured in al-Arabi neighborhood, northern Mosul,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “Meanwhile, an army force has managed to defuse an improvised explosive device (IED) planted near Mohammed Taher Zinawa mosque in al-Nour neighborhood, eastern Mosul,” the source added, providing no further details.
