Disputes over Kirkuk delay endorsing elections law, says Bazouni

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Independent MP Jawad al-Bazouni expected reaching an agreement among the political blocs over the elections law draft.

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) on Wednesday “The blocs will agree on conducting the elections in spite of the attempts to marginalize the minor blocs,” noting that “The disputes over Kirkuk can be solved between the Kurdistani Alliance and the Iraqi National Alliance.”

“Some sides attempt to arouse the problematic case of Kirkuk since it causes disputes between the Kurds and the Iraqiya Slate,” he concluded.
