Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Ministry of Culture announced its intention to hold an Iraqi-Egyptian cultural summit to promote Arab culture in general and discuss some common interest issues.The Ministry of Culture reported in a statement received by IraqiNews.com ”During the meeting of the Iraqi Minister of Culture, Sa’adon al-Duliami with his Egyptian counterpart, the two sides agreed upon to hold an Arab culture summit that aim at promoting the level of Arab culture in general and to discuss some common interest issues.””The Iraqi side expressed his desire to host the Arab culture summit in Baghdad after being chosen as the capital for Arab culture of 2013,” the statement added.””Iraqi and Egypt will form joint committee that hold its meeting in Iraq to prepare the joint viewpoints for two countries,” the statement concluded.
