Security plan set for Eid in Najaf province

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Najaf province developed special security plan dedicated for Eid al-Adha and Eid al-Ghadier, while Najaf Provincial Council allocated IQD (100) million for celebrations during Eid al-Ghadier.The Head of Security Committee within Najaf PC, Khalid al-Jashami, reported in a statement received by IraqiNews.com ”The province developed a security plan to be applied as of next Monday with the participation of (30,000) security elements from the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Interior,” noting that ”The Air-Forces will support security forces during days of Eid al-Adha.””The security plan will include to distribute security checkpoints and (120) security elements throughout the road around Najaf province while the roads that lead to the Old city will be closed for vehicles and motorbikes,” the statement added.”The security plan will also adopt the security efforts and sniffer dogs in order to provide protection for people and preserve their lives,” noting that ”The security plan will last till the end of Eid al-Ghadier which will be dated on 24/October/2013,” the statement concluded. \END\
