Shakir: Iraq ready to beat KSA on Tuesday match

Follow-Up (IraqiNews.com) The coach of the Iraqi Football Team, Hakim Shakir, confirmed the readiness of the Iraqi team to face and beat its Saudi counterpart on Tuesday match within the Asian Qualifiers for Asian Cup 2015 to be held in Australia.

During the press conference held with the Saudi Coach, on Monday, Shakir said “We will play and exert all possible efforts to win the match to refresh our chances to qualify for the Asian finals though we face the Saudi team which is a famous team in Asia.”

“The Iraqi team suffered from difficult conditions due to being out of the World Cup Qualifiers which affected the spirits of the Iraqi players,” Shakir added.

“We entered two training camps in Turkey and Lebanon to prepare for playing against the Saudi team,” according to Shakir.

For his part, the Spanish coach of the Saudi team Lopez Caro assured that “The match against Iraq will be difficult for both teams,” noting that “The Saudi team will play hard to win the match and get the three points.”
