31 released after proven innocent in Mosul

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: Thirty-one detainees on Wednesday were released from Mosul prison after they have been cleared of all wrongdoing, according to a local police source. “Those released are residents of Hassan Shami village, Hamdaniya district, and were detained by the Multi-National Force (MNF) during a raid on the village on November 9, 2008,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “No evidence has been found of their involvement in acts of violence,” the source added.
