Ninewa blast casualties reach 8

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: Casualties from the car bomb blast that targeted a police patrol vehicle in Ninewa province earlier today have reached eight, according to a local police source. “Today, a bomber detonated a car rigged with explosives near a police patrol vehicle, killing two civilians, including the son of Hamdaniya’s municipal council head, and wounding six others,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. Earlier today, the same source said that the explosion killed two civilians and wounded two others. Mosul, the capital city of Ninewa province, lies 405 km north of Baghdad. SS (P) 1
