Sadrist MP describes US invitations to Iraqi officials as "Normal"

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Riyadh al-Zayadi, of al-Ahrar bloc within the Sadr Trend described the invitations of the United States of America to the Iraqi officials to visit it as “Normal due to the Strategic Pact between the two sides.”

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “The Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, will visit Washington to discuss the ongoing Syrian crisis and the security updates in Iraq in addition to the Strategic Pact.”

“This Pact needs many amendments and commitment because the US officials did not adhere to their deals over the armament deals,” he added.

“Regarding the other visits of the other officials to the USA, these visits are normal due to the relations between the two sides and it will also be for the benefit of the USA,” he concluded.
