Zebari hosts international officials to discuss preparations to hold Geneva 2 Conference

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hoshyar Zebari, hosted, at the headquarter of the Ministry, the Deputy Chairman of European Union to Iraq, Quiermo Martins, and the Ambassadors of France, Germany and Britain on Wednesday.The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported in a statement received by IraqiNews.com ”The meeting touched on the national and regional political updates and the results of the visit of the Joint Envoy of UN and Arab League, al-Akhdher al-Ibrahemi, to Baghdad in addition to the ongoing preparations to hold the Geneva 2 Conference and the Syrian crisis.””The Ambassadors submitted the positive developments regarding Iran nuclear program after the discussions of the (5+1) countries with the Republic of Iran where Zebari stressed the importance of continuing to discuss with Iran to achieve progress regarding its nuclear program,” the statement concluded. \END\
