Zebari meets Turkish counterpart over upgrading relations

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hoshyar Zebari, met his Turkish Counterpart, Davut Ahmet Oglu, on Friday.

According to a report received by IraqiNews.com “Zebari confirmed in a joint press conference with Oglu on Friday that the Syrian crisis has an impact on the regional countries so it must be solved soon.”

Zebari assured in conference “Iraq seeks establishing good relations with Turkey and the next period will witness more connections with Turkey.”

For his part, Oglu mentioned “Turkey is also adherent to establish good relations with Iraq.”
