Urgent – 11 persons killed, wounded in Tikrit

Salah-il-Din, Tikrit (IraqiNews.com) Four police elements were killed when a car bomb exploded to the north of Tikrit city.Security source reported to IraqiNews.com ”The car bomb, which was parked in front of the police captain’s house, exploded in the left coast of Shurqat district of northern Tikrit city.””The explosion of the car bomb resulted in killing the police captain along with three members of his family while four of his bodyguards and three of his sons were wounded as well as causing material damage to the house,” the source added.”The ambulances rushed to the explosion scene transporting the dead bodies to the morgue and the wounded to the hospital for treatment,” the source concluded. \END\
