Urgent – KA presents suggestions over elections law

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The member of the Parliamentary Legal Committee, Amir al-Kinani, revealed a suggestion for the Kurdistani Alliance presented to the Parliamentary delegation visiting Erbil last Saturday over the controversial elections law.

Kinani stated to Iraqi News Sunday “The discussions over the new elections law are positive when the Kurds showed flexibility towards leaving the single electoral circle and leaving the compensatory seats in return for increasing the seats for the minorities.”

“If discussions over increasing the seats of the minorities reached a settlement, the elections law will be endorsed easily,” MP Kinani concluded.
