Zakho to host Iraqi Wrestling Championship

Erbil (IraqiNews.com) The Deputy Chairman of the Wrestling Union in Kurdistan Region, Shawqi Faraj, stated that ”Zakho city will host the Iraqi Wrestling Championship in cooperation with the Wrestling Union in Kurdistan Region with the participation of (400) Iraqi players who represent the (55) sports clubs participating in the Championship within 30/10-3/11/2013.”

”The Wrestling Union in Kurdistan Region prepared all the necessary requirements to ensure success of this championship which is expected to witness strong Competition that will highlight the new talents of the many sports clubs participating in the championship,” he concluded.
