Citizen MP stresses necessity of requesting INTERPOL to hand over criminals to Iraq

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Hasoun al-Fatlawi, of the Citizen bloc stressed the necessity of requesting the INTERPOL to hand over the criminals and the corrupted officials abroad to Iraq.

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “There are many criminals and corrupted officials abroad who managed to escape from Iraq and the Iraqi government is requested to pressurize the INTERPOL to have them over to Iraq.”

“The Iraqi government is also requested to activate the pacts signed with the INTERPOL over handing over the criminals,” he added, noting that “Neglecting this issue allows the criminals to practice their activities and steal the public funds.” End/
