Maliki meets Congress delegation in US

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, met a Congressional delegation, led by Senator John McCain, within the course of his meetings with US figures during his current visit to America.

A statement received by IraqiNews.com quoted the Iraqi Ambassador to US as saying “Maliki met the congress delegation and focused during the meeting on security, Iraq’s relations with neighboring countries and Syrian crisis as well as the US foreign policy in addition to the internal challenges in Iraq.”

“The meeting was positive,” the Ambassador concluded.
