Kurdish MP: No legal article prevents Maliki from nominating for 3rd term

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Dleir Abdul Qadir, of the Kurdistani Alliance pointed out “There is no legal article that prevents the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, from nominating for a third term.”

He stated to IraqiNews.com “Maliki did not tackled this issue during his visit to the US.”

“People can decide whether to nominate Maliki for third term or not according to the results of the next parliamentary elections,” he concluded.
