Urgent – 4 IA elements killed, wounded in Yusifiya

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) An Iraqi Army officer was killed while three soldiers were wounded when an Improvised Explosive Device exploded to the south of Baghdad.

Security source mentioned to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) ”The IED, which was emplaced on a roadside, exploded targeting an Iraqi Army patrol in Yusifiya area (20 KM) to the south of Baghdad.’

”’The explosion of the IED resulted in killing an Army officer and wounding three soldiers as well as causing material damages to the vehicle of the patrol,” the source added.”The security forces blocked off the explosion area transporting the dead body to the morgue and the wounded soldiers to the hospital for treatment,” the source concluded.
