Taha rules out endorsing Oil & Gas law by current parliament

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Shwan Mohamed Taha, ruled out endorsing the Gas and Oil law by the current parliamentary rotation.

He stated to IraqiNews.com “Some law drafts have political dimensions,” noting that “The political disputes negatively affected the performance of the parliament especially regarding this law.”

“There was a suggestion by the Oil and Energy Committee to endorse it yet it was rejected due to the political disputes,” he concluded.
