Parliament of Kurdistan Region to hold its first session on Wednesday

Erbil (IraqiNews.com) The parliament of Kurdistan Region will hold its first session of its fourth parliamentary term on Wednesday.

The Media Advisor of the President of Kurdistan Region, Tariq Jawhar, stated in a press conference “The parliament session will start by reciting some verses of the Holy Quran and remembering the martyrs in addition to requesting the eldest member of the parliament to head the session.”

“The session will include the nomination to the Speaker and the Deputies of the Speaker posts where the temporary Speaker will request two other members to help him in the nomination process,” he added.

“After conducting the nomination and elections process, the new Speaker and his Deputies will start their tasks,” he concluded.
