Secretary of State of The Holy See to visit Iraq soon

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Secretary of State of The Holy See confirmed his intention to visit Iraq as soon as possible.

A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs received by Alforat News Agency cited “Iraq’s Ambassador to the Vatican State, Habib al-Sadr, met the Secretary of State of The Holy See where they exchanged the views over the positive bilateral relations between the two sides.”

“The Secretary of State praised the performance of the Ambassador in establishing a permanent committee to keep dialogues between Iraq and Vatican,” the statement concluded.
