IED goes off southwestern Baghdad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Eight civilians were injured when an Improvised Explosive Device exploded in Saiydiya area of southwestern Baghdad.

A security source stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “An IED emplaced near a local market in Saiydiyah area, exploded to result in injuring eight citizens.”

“The security forces blocked the area and transported the injuries to the nearby hospital for treatment,” the source concluded.
