Jaf criticizes lack of strategic plans in dealing with floods

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Ashwaq al-Jaf, of the Kurdistani Alliance criticized the lack of the strategic plans in dealing with the floods.

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), she said “Granting the affected families by the floods some funds in not a solution where strategic plans must be set to face the floods,” noting that “The repetition of the floods reflects the lack of the plan for settling this crisis.”

“The funds specified for the affected families must be specified for the maintenance of the sewerage system for the drainage of the floods,” she concluded.
