Qaeda leader arrested northern Babel

Babel (IraqiNews.com) The security forces arrested a Qaeda leader in Hamiya area of northern Babel.

Security source reported to IraqiNews.com Sunday “The security forces arrested a leader of a terrorist cell within the Qaeda Organization, known as (Abdullah al-Janabi) after storming his house in Hamiya area of northern Babel province,” noting that “The force seized weapons and explosives inside Janabi’s house.”

“The arrest operation was based on accurate intelligence information,” the source added, stressing that “The detainee was referred to specialized judicial authorities.”
