Urgent – 7 gunmen killed while attacking border checkpoint of western Anbar

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Ministry of Interior announced that seven gunmen were killed when they tried to attacked al-Sigoor border checkpoint in Qaim district of western Anbar.

The spokesperson of the MoI, Saad Maan, stated in a press statement “Seven terrorists, including four with explosive vests, attacked al-Sigoor checkpoint of the Six Brigade in Qaim district of western Anbar, were killed by the security forces.”

“The security forces deployed in the nearby borders to check for more terrorists,” he concluded.
