Hakim calls for improving security conditions, services in Babel

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Shiite leader Abdelaziz al-Hakim urged officials in Babel to “exert efforts” in order to improve security conditions and services in the province, according to a release by Hakim’s office. “Hakim, the leader of the Supreme Islamic Iraqi Council (SIIC), received Babel Governor Salem al-Maslamawi and called on local officials in the province to set up development projects to ameliorate the level of services for local residents,” read the release as received by IraqiNews.com news agency. “The meeting tackled efforts to strengthen partnership among all political powers in the province to seek progress in all spheres,” it added.
