IA soldiers killed, injured western Mosul

Nineveh (IraqiNews.com) An Iraqi Army was killed while another was injured due to an armed assault to the west of Mosul.

Security source reported to IraqiNews.com Tuesday “Unidentified gunmen opened fire towards an Iraqi Army checkpoint located in Islah Zirae area of western Mosul,” noting that “The attack resulted in killing a soldier and injuring another.”

“The security forces cordoned off the attack area and transported the injured person to the hospital for treatment and the dead body to the morgue,” the source concluded.
