Kurdistan Islamic Movement supports formation of new Kurdistan Region

Erbil (IraqiNews.com) The Head of Islamic Movement in Kurdistan Region, Aurfan Ali, announced that his Movement did not announce participation in the new Government in Kurdistan Region.

The Prime Minister of Kurdistan Regional Government, Nechirvan Barzani, the Head of Kurdistani Democratic Party conducted negotiation will all political entities regarding the formation of new Government and he met the Kurdistani Islamic Movement on Saturday.

Ali stated in a joint press conference with Nechirvan that ”The Islamic Movement did not announce to participate in new government officially, though they support the new Government and will contribute in succeeding it to be in service of citizens.”

”Nechirvan stated that the Islamic Movement expressed some criticisms and it will be considered in the new Government,” the statement concluded.
