Turkey to open consulate in Basra

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Council of Ministers approved the opening of Turkish consulate in Basra, the second Turkish consulate in Iraq where as Turkey already opened a consulate in Mosul, Iraq’s foreign ministry said in a statement on Tuesday. “According to reciprocity, Iraq obtained the Council’s approval to open a second Consulate in Turkey, in Gazi Intab south of Turkey,” said the statement received by IraqiNews.com news agency.
