Urgent – Holiday declared in Khanaqen in anticipation of earthquake

Diyala, Baquba (IraqiNews.com) The Mayor of Khanaqen district, Mula Hassan, announced, tomorrow, Tuesday as a holiday in the district in anticipation of any earthquakes that may occur in the area.

Mula stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) ”We have been informed by the Iraqi Meteorological and Seismological Organization to take care and caution and thus we decided to announce Tuesday as a holiday in the district.”Mula demanded the Red Crescent Organization and Kurdistan Regional Government ”To provide the necessary protection and the required supplies as a precaution to any emergencies that may result of the earthquakes.”
