State of law should be established on constitution base – PM

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki on Friday said that the state of law should be established on the constitution base. Addressing the general conference of the Bani Eissa tribe, al-Maliki said that “we have to set up a state on the constitution and law base,” noting that “if we want to set up the homeland we have to avoid sectarianism and hatred.” “Through constitution and elections, we can form the real supervision on the political process,” he added. A total of 14 out of 18 provinces witnessed on January 31 the provincial council elections in a new experience, considered by political analysts as successful. SH (P) 1
