Wasit (IraqiNews.com) About (143) persons were arrested in various areas of Wasit province on Thursday.The police department of Wasit province declared in a statement received by IraqiNews.com ”The police patrols arrested (143) suspects according to various legal articles, among them five persons arrested according to the article (4) of Anti- Terrorism law.””Among the detainees are two suspects accused of selling expired packed food materials and five persons accused of drugs trafficking,” the statement added.”All the detainees were referred to judicial authority for investigation,” the statement concluded. \END\
